There are lots of questions you will have about bridal makeup and the way a makeup artist works. Here I have included some of the common questions, but if you have any others please do not hesitate to contact me.
Q. What brands do you use?
A. My kit contains mainly MAC, Channel and Bobbi Brown, I have a lot of other premium brands too including Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and some professional brands including Makeup Forever, Cinema Secrets and OCC.
Q. Do you do Airbrush makeup?
A. Yes I can do either Airbrush foundation or normal liquid foundation, I offer both to all brides, so if you fancy giving it a go at your trial just let me know.
Q. How soon should I book you?
A. I receive enquiries from brides on a daily basis, so if you know you definitely want me, I recommend booking sooner rather than later as weekends get booked up very quickly.
Q. Should I have my hair done before my makeup?
A. In an ideal world yes, it is best if your makeup done after your hair as heated appliances/sprays can interfere with the finished look.
Q. Where is the trial held?
A. It can either be at your home/location of your choice (mileage will apply if out of a 10 mile radius of my home address) or you are welcome to come to me in East Goscote.
Q. How soon can I have my trial?
A. A trial can take place as soon as you are ready to have it, however it might be helpful to have it within 3 months of your wedding, that way generally you will know more about the way you want to look as you will probably have your dress and flowers picked out by that point.
Q. How long will the trial take?
A. A trial can take anywhere from an hour to several hours, depending on how many looks you want to try and how many people are having a trial. I do not limit a bride to a certain length of time for her trial, its very important to me that I make you happy and get the look right for you, however long it takes.
Q. How much do you charge for mileage?
A. I charge 40p per mile, outside of a 10 mile radius of LE7 3ZR, i.e. if your home is 25 miles away from my home postcode you will only pay for 15 of those miles (both ways).
Q. How much time do you need on my wedding day?
A. I usually allow an hour for the bride and 35 minutes for each extra person.
Q. Do you supply a top up of my lip colour?
A. You can either buy a full sized lip colour (of your choice) from me or I will supply you with enough lip colour for you to re-apply throughout the day.
Q. How do I secure my wedding date?
A. Your wedding date can be secured by completing a booking form and a deposit of £100 per booking. Please note that due to the number of enquiries I receive I can not hold a wedding date until a deposit is received.
